5. Write down cryptic error messages on a note pad, it makes trouble shooting more effective and makes the likelihood of being able to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem increase.
   
6. Regularly scan for Viruses, run Windows Update, and scan for spyware.
   
7. Use strong passwords like combinations of numbers and letters to prevent your passwords from being easily cracked.
